SPS Hudson and Marshall Auction Short Sale

Select Portfolio Servicing (SPS) has been changing many guidelines lately to decease sellers dragging their feet and to increase offer prices being submitted to them. Many investors are only giving sellers one chance to submit an offer when SPS is the servicer. Now SPS through Hudson and Marshall is rolling out an online auction program for short sales if the account is eligible. 

The same principles apply to this program as other online auctions that are held through xome or hubzu. Agents won’t be kicked out of the transaction, but buyers do run the risk of being outbid.
