SLS Short Sale Authorization

Specialized Loan Servicing otherwise known as SLS is a mortgage servicer. When processing a short sale, loan modification, or any workout option on an account where you are not the borrower, you will need to obtain authorization. SLS accepts most authorization letters as long as they have the borrowers name, social, property address, account number, and signature. SLS also will accept a verbal authorization from the borrower on the account. A verbal authorization with SLS should be indefinite until removed by the borrower.
