Ocwen Verbal Authorization

Mortgage servicers have different guidelines when it comes to having a 3rd party to the loan authorized on a borrowers mortgage account. Some lenders require it to be emailed, faxed, or even notarized and sent in. Some lenders will allow a borrower to call in and give verbal authorization for 24 hours and others a month. Ocwen’s has a new guideline where they will allow a borrower to call in and authorize a 3rd party on their account for up to 12 months. An Ocwen verbal authorization can come in handy when there are problems in getting an authorization form together or when someone needs to be authorized at a moments notice.
