Mr. Cooper Short Sale Escalations

 It can be tough to escalate at Mr. Cooper as they do not have an executive office and short sales are processed through equator. Calling into Mr. Cooper is not as helpful now unless if you already have an assigned negotiator or if you can reach their supervisor. One mention to escalate is to email them. They have an escalation email at shortsalesupport@mrcooper.com. It does not always bare positive results but  typically you can at least get a response with the facts.

Some issues can’t be escalated around if it’s a hard set investor guideline. This comes down to the particular investor or insurer and the guideline in question. Some guidelines may be granted exceptions if it’s not a hard set denial reason.
