Fannie Mae Level 2

Besides using the Homepath method to escalate short sales with the investor as Fannie Mae there is the traditional escalation route to utilize too. First, email an authorization to resource_center@fanniemae.com, but be sure to not include any of the borrowers personal information such as a social security number on it. Once you are authorized ( roughly 48 hours ) call in to (800) 732-6643. Keep in mind that there are two levels to Fannie Mae and your goal is to reach Level 2. Ensure you do everything in your power to have the  Fannie Mae Level 1 representative transfer you up to Level 2. Typically, when you are transferred to Level 2 no one will answer and you will leave a voice mail. A representative will call you back and that is who you plead your case too and seek potential assistance and resolution to your concerns.
